Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony held on July 4, 2023, was a momentous occasion for our school.This ceremony was graced by the honourable Chief Guest Dr. R Sivakumar IPS, Superintendent of Police Salem. The event commenced with a warm welcome, followed by inspiring speeches emphasizing leadership and responsibility. Newly elected student leaders were officially invested with their roles, symbolizing their commitment to serve the school community. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and pride as students pledged to uphold the values of integrity and diligence. The meeting continues to engage participants in meaningful discussions on fostering leadership qualities among students.It gives opportunity to sharpen their leadership skills.

Independence day

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on August 15, 2023, under the leadership of Rev .Fr . Solomon, Principal of St. Antony Matric School. The program began with a flag hoisting ceremony, followed by inspiring speeches that highlighted the significance of freedom and patriotism. Students participated in various cultural performances, showcasing their talents and love for the nation. The event fostered a spirit of unity and pride among students and staff, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made for our independence. It was a memorable day filled with reflection and celebration of our national heritage.

Teachers day

Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on September 5, 2023, under the leadership of Rev. Fr. J. Vimal, Director of JPS, along with our principal Mrs.R.Mary Berchmans.The day was filled with joyful events, including performances by students that showcased their love and appreciation for their teachers. Each educator was honored for their dedication and hard work, culminating in the presentation of gifts as a token of gratitude. The atmosphere was vibrant, reflecting the strong bond between students and teachers. This special celebration served to recognize the invaluable contributions of our educators to the growth and development of students.

Sports Day

The Euphoria Inter-House Sports and Cultural event, held on September 3, 2023, was a resounding success, graced by our esteemed chief guests, Rev. Fr. Jacob, Procurator of Salem Diocese, and Mr . Felix Raja ,Thasildar of Tirupathur. Students proudly donned their house uniforms, participating in a vibrant march past that set the tone for the day’s festivities. The event featured various sports competitions and captivated performances, including colorful dances enhanced with impressive props. To promote environmental awareness, we organized a public service campaign titled “Making Omalur Green,” distributed saplings to parents and encouraged them to plant saplings in their homes. This initiative aimed to foster a greener community and instill a sense of responsibility towards nature.

Science Expo

The Amazon Science Expo, held on October 28, 2023, was a remarkable event showcasing our students’ creativity and scientific prowess. We were honored to have Rev. Fr. John Kennedy, Correspondent of Salem Diocese, as our chief guest. Students displayed a diverse range of innovative projects, reflecting their hard work and dedication. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with excitement and curiosity as attendees explored the exhibits. The event not only celebrated scientific exploration but also fostered a sense of community and collaboration among students. It was a day to remember, highlighting the importance of science in our lives.

Christmas Celebration

The Christmas celebration held on December 23, 2023, was a splendid occasion marked by joy and festivity, with Rev. Fr. Luka Stumma gracing the event as the chief guest. The day was filled with grand performances by students, showcasing their talents through a delightful array of skits and musical presentations that captured the spirit of the season. A special Christmas treat was organized, where cakes were distributed to all students, fostering a sense of community and togetherness. This celebration not only highlighted the joyous essence of Christmas but also provided an opportunity for students to engage in the spirit of giving and sharing, making it a truly memorable event for all.

Pongal

The Pongal celebration, held as Tamizhar Panpattu Thiruvizha at JBS, was a vibrant and joyous occasion. The festivities commenced with a warm welcome marked by the traditional Kumbha Aarathi, setting the tone for the day’s celebrations. Rev. Fr Mathalai Muthu graced the event as our esteemed chief guest, leading the proceedings with enthusiasm. A variety of traditional games were organized, engaging students and fostering a spirit of camaraderie. The day was filled with happiness as students and staff enjoyed the festive atmosphere, with delicious sugarcane and Pongal distributed to all. This celebration beautifully showcased our cultural heritage and brought the community together in a spirit of joy and unity.
